BIRDS OF NORTH AMERICA

This series of mixed-media miniature paintings celebrates the amazing feathered creatures that currently reside on our continent. I have represented two characteristic individuals of each species, a male and a female. Also included is a series of carved wood sculptures of hummingbirds. Two-thirds of North American birds are currently at risk of extinction due to a widespread ecological crisis and climate change.
