THE HALL OF BIRDS

The Hall of Birds is a a small experimental project space in Philadelphia, which currently features the North American Birds series by Susan Hagen. These miniature watercolor and conte paintings focus on the diversity and beauty of the birds that live on our continent for all or part of the year. Two characteristic individuals of each species is represented, a female and a male. Two-thirds of North American Birds are currently at risk of extinction due to a widespread ecological crisis and climate change. 

 

The Hall of Birds is not open to the public at this time due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
